Statute of Limitations in a Florida Automobile Accident

Florida has established a two-year statute of limitations on automobile accidents. (Florida Statute 95.11) Although there may be some exceptions, in the vast majority of cases this means that you must file suit on or before the two-year anniversary of the automobile accident, or you are barred from pursuing a case.
